you know: The Office of Employment and Training (OET)
maintains the largest resource of job openings available in
your area and in the state through the
Kentucky Job Bank. And because we are a part of a national network
of employment services across the United States we are able to connect

When
you register you will be asked to provide information relating to
your work history, experience, education, special training, your
interests and any specific skills you possess. In essence
you are simply supplying the kind of information that is normally
included on your resume. This allows us to conduct a more
effective job search for you. By matching your skills and
qualifications to the requirements specified by the employer, there
is greater potential the employer will consider you for the

Office of Employment and Training wants to introduce you to our
Virtual
Workshop Center.
Although
we offer workshops at many of our locations, we understand that
your schedule may not allow you the flexibility to attend these
workshops in person. That is why we are providing you an alternative
method of accessing these services.
The
Virtual Workshop Center allows you to access in-depth information
and instructions on "How to Write a Successful Resume", "Cover Letter"
and "Thank You Letter"; Interviewing Skills to Assist in Your Job
Interview; Job and Career Fair Tips; alphabetical listings of: Action

you and your skills, Commonly Misspelled Words frequently found
on resumes, cover letters and often on tests; Survey and Assess
